Some of the tools we have designed over the course of this project are available for free download. We invite you to use these, report errors if you find any, and contribute enhancements and bug fixes (all tools are released under open source licenses.)

OAI Data Provider

The Open Archives Initiative develops and promotes interoperability standards that aim to facilitate the efficient dissemination of content.

If you host a digital library and wish to make its archives available for public consumption, adding an OAI data provider for your site is a good solution. Our data provider is written in object-oriented PHP5 and relies on a MySQL database at the backend.
